Naomi Natale, Founder and Director
Naomi Natale is an installation artist, photographer, and social practice artist. In 2008 Natale completed a large-scale installation/ social practice work titled, The Cradle Project. Over 550 cradles were created and submitted by artists from around the world who were drawn to Natale’s vision. In 2009 Natale founded One Million Bones, a social arts practice whose vision is to collect 1,000,000 handmade bones and display them on the National Mall in DC in 2013. Natale is the recipient of the following awards and speaks internationally on the topic of art and activism as well as her installations and social practice works. 2011 Arts Healing Network Award, 2010 TED Senior Fellowship, 2010 Carl Wilkens Fellowship, 2009 TED Global Fellowship, 2009 Professional Achievement Award: Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
In 2011, Naomi along with her colleague, Susan McAllister, co-founded The Art of Revolution.

Susan McAllister, Project Manager
Susan has twelve years experience in nonprofit management. As director of the Harwood, Albuquerque’s largest community art center, she developed, procured funding, and managed an extensive array of arts based education, youth employment and community outreach programming. She is editor of The Harwood Anthology and Looking Back to Place published by Old School Books, and A Bigger Boat published by UNM Press. From 2003-2006, she served as financial director for the wildly successful National Poetry Slam held in Albuquerque. Susan holds a BA in Creative Writing and Literature from the State University of New York, New Paltz, an MA in Parks and Rec Administration from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, and completed the Robert O. Anderson School of Management Nonprofit Certification program.

Kathleen McEuen, National Liaison
Kathleen, an Albuquerque native graduated from McMurry University, a small liberal arts college in Abilene, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science and was very active in the Model United Nations Program where she found her passion for human rights advocacy. Her studies encouraged her desire to travel, taking her to places such as Chicago, New York, Geneva and Zurich and working with International Leaders such as Kiyo Akasaka, the UN Under Secretary General for Communication and Public Information and Paul Rusesabagina. In all aspects, Kathleen has dedicated her life to the advocating on behalf of women and children specifically and continuing her work around the world.
Leigh Durham, Field Organizer
Leigh is a recent graduate from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where she received a BA in Political Science and Latin American Studies. During her senior year there, she had the opportunity to intern with One Million Bones, working as the local Volunteer Coordinator in preparation for the 50,000 bone installation in April 2012. She's very excited to come on board in Albuquerque as part of the ten-month Public Allies New Mexico program! Her passion for human rights activism began to grow in high school, when she helped organize an annual school-wide event called the Dance for a
Difference, in which ticket proceeds were donated to relief efforts in Darfur. Leigh's continued interest in international relations and strong desire to gain a global perspective has inspired her to live abroad in the Czech Republic and travel to countries including Ukraine, Mexico, Serbia, and Turkey.
Olivia Natale, Volunteer Coordinator
Olivia has an interest in photography and social justice issues, particularly ongoing genocide and mass atrocities where she served as One Million Bones New Jersey State Coordinator and since January of 2013 she has served as the Volunteer Coordinator in Washington, D.C. Olivia grew up in Southern New Jersey and graduated from Atlantic County Institute of Technology with a license in Cosmetology while she worked as a caretaker. Olivia has a strong passion for early childhood development and hopes to continue working with children as part of the Public Allies New Mexico Program.
